Beginning Track
Have you been dragging that guitar around for years saying, "One day I will learn..."? This class is for you. Come learn strumming basics and common chords to jump start your guitar dreams!
Intermediate Track
If you know the basics of strumming and a few good chords, come and expand your repetoire and brush up! Learn to sing AND play, learn some strum patterns and techniques that can add interest to your playing in a supportive and fun environment.
Songwriting Basics
Learn the fundamentals of song writing, including song structure and explore themes. You will use journaling to bring out those ideas that are bouncing around in your head. We'll cover both lyrics and basic music theory for song writers. Record your song at the end of the course.
Songwriting Advanced
Take your songwriting to the next level, whatever level you're at. Students will be guided to learn more advanced skills for finding the right rhyme scheme, song mood, and voice. Perform you song at the student showcase.
